This is the most talked about house in Rock. Completed in 2006 an eco-build whose ground source heat pump and solar panels combined produce 100% of the hot water and central heating. It has a wonderful situation looking down to the estuary and the hills beyond. Having reverse accommodation, the upper living rooms take maximum advantage of the views, and the sociable design of this floor makes Radoon an ideal place for a special holiday.
Six bedrooms: Two super king, both ensuite having a shower in the bath, four twins, one showerroom, one bathroom with a shower in the bath. Groundfloor entrance to large bootroom. Engine room housing all the eco workings, large capacity washing machine, tumble dryer and two suspended drying racks. Large sittingroom looking out over the estuary, with woodburner, plenty, of seating, TV with freeview, video, DVD and hifi. Dining room looking out over the estuary with a generous twelve seater table which could stretch when entertaining. This opens into the kitchen, very well fitted with granite worktops, oil fired Aga, high spec oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and American fridge/freezer. Walk in larder. Children's sittingroom with a couple of settees, TV with freeview, video and DVD and lots of games. Store room with drinks fridge and second freezer. Cloakroom. Balcony with outside dining table and gas barbecue.
Above the garage there is a games room with a table tennis table. Behind the house, there is an outside shower and undercover hanging for wetsuits. The attractive gardens are maturing well. Plenty of parking. Telephone and computer connection on honesty. Linen hire is included in the tariff, but please bring your beach towels. No smokers please. Only well behaved dogs are allowed and not in the bedrooms. The tariff includes a three hour maid service once a week, but if you would like her more frequently, then it can be arranged.
